## Motivation (why a GUID) The uri-guid-discussion bead settled how acequia identifies things (URI of record, GUID leaf). Stephen's next move: those same identifiers are what RDF is made of, and an acequia-link (a typed URI-to-URI edge that itself carries a URI and a GUID) already behaves like an RDF statement. This bead holds that thread: how RDF uses URIs and GUIDs, whether acequia-links support RDF-grade semantics, and how the semantic web relates to the Hubler bead network.
