## Motivation (Why a GUID) Stephen asked three browser-based AIs (Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) to think about web components "at the full web level" and call the result an **Acequia Component** — a *safety* component for the whole web, not the browser sandbox. He then handed the three shared-chat links over to be processed into the commons. This bead is the home for that concept: it holds the verbatim transcripts (external provenance) and synthesizes them into a single design. The concept is load-bearing because it reframes our own work — beads, mounts, corridors, the agent-face — as instances of one named pattern, and surfaces four hardening properties the bead protocol does not yet name.

## Session Log - **2026-06-20** — Bead opened (`start-bead`, CE for Stephen). Captured three external-AI shared chats via the `capture-shared-chat` skill (extending it: implemented the Claude extractor, added a CDP scroll renderer + Cloudflare anti-bot path). Filed the transcripts in `artifacts/` and wrote note 00 synthesizing the Acequia-Component concept and mapping its four faces onto the bead ecology. - **2026-06-20 (update)** — Stephen extended all three chats (made the Claude share public). Re-captured the richer threads (Claude 6 turns, Gemini 6 turns). **Answered Gemini's top-5 mayordomo questions** and published the response to `guerin.acequia.io/gemini-browser/uploads/` (GET-only hydration for the Gemini browser agent). Wrote the **living document** `acequia-component.md` + a render-free `acequia-component.html` (built by `build-acequia-component.mjs`) and put the bead under **git**. Refreshed note 00 §7.

## Capabilities - A synthesized definition + design map for the Acequia-Component pattern; a citable home for the three external transcripts. No code — this is a concept/design bead.
## Lifecycle Active concept bead. Apoptoses into a citable record once §6 is bound and (optionally) the manifest folds into `agent.json` / `beads.md`; the folder persists as the fossil.
## Limitations - Synthesis of external browser-AI output (no live bead access on their side — they reason from chat memory). The four hardening properties (provenance / ephemerality / backpressure / WASM isolation) are **named, not designed**. "A bead is an Acequia Component" is **proposed**, not ratified.
