## Motivation (Why a GUID) This bead is a **synthesis/distillation thread**, not a build. Stephen asked for a survey of all prior beads under `guerin/.agents/` that deal with *how beads work* — especially the load-bearing idea that a bead can duck-type as a **file**, a **folder**, AND an **agent** (a resource at a URI), with the representation chosen at interaction time. The concept was scattered across ~6 prior beads and one *missing* canonical note (`agent-as-file-ducktyping.md` is referenced but never existed as a file). A fresh GUID gives the synthesis its own addressable home without polluting any source bead, and crystallizes the duck-typing concept that several beads only gesture at.
