## Identity - **URI:** https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/b3461c66-1a49-4f62-8920-d6dcc9838942/ - **GUID:** b3461c66-1a49-4f62-8920-d6dcc9838942 - **Opened:** 2026-06-08
## Motivation (Why a GUID) The **acquisition + ops + catalog-management** half of the imagery-catalog effort. Sibling bead [`c38c1239`](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/c38c1239-bfd3-44dd-8d97-1a0aa39ac8da/about.md) owns the *view/controller-agnostic catalog **format** design*; this bead owns the *producers and operations* that feed it: - **AlertWest / ALERTCalifornia** ground-camera grabbing (per `simtable.acequia.io/docs/alertcalifornia/`). - **EGP mission-browser** airborne FMV acquisition — treated as **its own catalog** (own folder structure; bookmarklet that can persist to local disk via File System Access API *or* WebDAV). - **WatchDuty** scraping as a third source. - Catalog management that supports **multiple viewers** (alertLive 3D, MISB FMV, santafe.live manager). This bead is the workshop for *getting the pixels + telemetry onto our WebDAV* and shaping the producer side; format decisions are deferred to / negotiated with `c38c1239`.
## Mechanism (What this bead does) - Runs the documented AlertWest pull-and-PUT pipeline (stacked `lapseLength`, dedup by `camScreenshot`, UTC date paths, telemetry sidecar) against specific cameras/incidents. - Holds the reusable grabber as a skill. - Documents producer-side observations (mission-browser folder structure, FSA vs WebDAV persistence) and hands catalog-format implications to `c38c1239` via its `uploads/` dock. - Stages the WatchDuty-scrape approach (own browser vs Claude-Chrome-extension prompt).

## Session Log - **2026-06-08** — Opened. AlertWest API verified end-to-end (cam 13500 = `UCSD_TDLLN_1`). Built [grab-alertwest.py](2026-06-08/skills/grab-alertwest.py); grabbed **68 frames** for `2026-CA-Sorrento` cam 13500, 0900–1500 PT (local+WebDAV, verified). Wrote the mission-browser-as-catalog note and the WatchDuty approach + CE-extension prompt (WatchDuty API is 406-gated → route through CE, the Claude Chrome Extension, which has ambient authority). Located the de-novo CE self-documentation pattern (beads `9f65eca3` / `1057235a`). Note: CE = Chrome Extension (scribe/PUT/ambient); CB = Browser (cloud, no ambient auth, can't PUT); CV = Claude Code/VSCode. - **2026-06-08 (Phase-1)** — CE ran the recon (bead `e37a8d6e`, inventory in `uploads/`). Then executed both Phase-1 tracks: (A) roster-proximity fire-camera grab — fixed the `cams`-vs-`locs` namespace bug, grabbed 5 more fire-lookout cams (13501, 9424, 11268, 9418, 11221) → **353 frames / 6 cams**; (B) WatchDuty public maptiles → **FIRIS perimeter + 82 evac zones decoded to GeoJSON**. See [notes/sorrento-phase1-results.md](2026-06-08/notes/sorrento-phase1-results.md). - **2026-06-21** — Live LA fire. Built [grab-alertcalifornia-stac.mjs](2026-06-21/skills/grab-alertcalifornia-stac.mjs) — STAC-emitting sibling of the Python grabber that writes a **camera-centric** catalog (cameras as their own STAC, per-frame pose) rather than an incident folder. Grabbed the 5 screenshot cameras (College Peak 1/2 `1901/1902`, Chino Hills West 1 `8610`, Baldwin Hills 1 `1805`, Westridge 1 `2493`) → `simtable.acequia.io/cameras/alertcalifornia/collection.json`. See [notes/la-fire-camera-stac.md](2026-06-21/notes/la-fire-camera-stac.md). Companion live ADS-B in `2986ff41`.
## Modus Operandi (How to interact) GET the grabber skill to re-run a pull. GET the notes for producer-side observations. Catalog-format questions belong to sibling bead `c38c1239` — relay via its `uploads/` dock, don't re-decide here.
## Capabilities - Reusable AlertWest camera grabber (any camId, any time window, → local + WebDAV in the documented layout). - Producer-side reference for mission-browser and WatchDuty as catalog sources.
## Lifecycle Persists while referenced. Sibling `c38c1239` (catalog format) is the primary inbound referrer. Sync to canonical URI via `/bead-sync`. No inbound references → apoptosis is correct.
## Limitations - AlertWest has **no historical query** — only `[now − lapseLength, now]`. Windows older than the rolling buffer are only available downsampled. Backfilling a past window depends on it still being inside the 24 h stack at fetch time. - Credentials: simtable WebDAV via `.credentials/simtable-webdav-token.txt` (origin-scoped).
