## Motivation (Why a GUID) This bead exists to host a critical review of Kaz's **AnyHazard user-model pitches** (three documents under [`redfish.acequia.io/kaz/pitches/anyhazard-user-model/`](https://redfish.acequia.io/kaz/pitches/anyhazard-user-model/)) read against the larger Acequia mission and vision. A fresh GUID per [feedback_denovo-agents-discover-not-inherit](c:/Users/steph/.claude/projects/c--Users-steph-Documents-sites/memory/feedback_denovo-agents-discover-not-inherit.md): not self-wiring into prior beads' accumulated context. The pitches are Kaz's; this bead is the *review workshop*, not a counter-proposal. Outputs are critique notes offered to Stephen and Kaz, not edits to the source pitches.
## Mechanism (What this bead does) This bead holds: - a top-level critical-review note that summarizes findings and answers Stephen's three specific questions - topical sibling notes that expand each question (gaps, vocabulary level, premature implementation) - the chat log that produced the review (raw "path of light") It does **not** modify the source pitches at `kaz/pitches/anyhazard-user-model/`. Those are Kaz's owned URI-space; this bead binds-in (reads + cites), it does not write back. Any restructuring suggestions land here as recommendations; Kaz decides what to bind into the source. Source pitches under review (synced locally 2026-06-02): - [`effort-1-user-org-management.md`](https://redfish.acequia.io/kaz/pitches/anyhazard-user-model/effort-1-user-org-management.md) — the User Manager spec - [`effort-1.1-simtable-session-discussion.md`](https://redfish.acequia.io/kaz/pitches/anyhazard-user-model/effort-1.1-simtable-session-discussion.md) — Simtable session model refinement - [`effort-2-layer-manager.md`](https://redfish.acequia.io/kaz/pitches/anyhazard-user-model/effort-2-layer-manager.md) — the Layer Manager spec

## Session Log - **2026-06-03** — Bead opened. Stephen synced the three pitches into `redfish.acequia.io/kaz/pitches/anyhazard-user-model/` (2026-06-02) and asked for a critical review focused on three axes: (1) gaps to the larger Acequia mission/vision, (2) is the pitch at the user-representation vocabulary level vs the implementation level, (3) does it dip into technical implementation prematurely. Four review notes produced. Then Stephen asked for a comparison to Gemini's parallel review in bead `9e1d87f5-a226-4d1a-be05-64c8d5cacf38` (peer agent, same prompt — independent run). Comparison note added as a fifth. Then Stephen called out that the chat log had not been written — neither here nor in Gemini's bead. Chat log reconstructed post-hoc into [`chats/`](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/31bd5380-d743-420f-81a1-9258e7fbbf9a/2026-06-03/chats/) from working context; assessment of `.ai/beads.md` clarity written as a sixth note ([bead-protocol-gaps.md](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/31bd5380-d743-420f-81a1-9258e7fbbf9a/2026-06-03/notes/bead-protocol-gaps.md)) with proposed edits. **Stephen authorized; edits applied** to both [.ai/beads.md](c:/Users/steph/Documents/sites/.ai/beads.md) and [.agents/beads.md](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/beads.md) — new Implementation Detail #5 specifies chat-log location/cadence/content/recovery; new "Why the chat log matters operationally" section frames the chat-log-as-ground-truth role; slash-command-availability note added to Commands; duplicate `3.` numbering fixed. Feedback memory saved as [`feedback_chat-log-discipline`](c:/Users/steph/.claude/projects/c--Users-steph-Documents-sites/memory/feedback_chat-log-discipline.md). Then Stephen directed two more changes: (a) add a `/bead-sync` skill + command for manual push of bead → online URI (skill at [.ai/skills/bead-sync/SKILL.md](c:/Users/steph/Documents/sites/.ai/skills/bead-sync/SKILL.md), command registered in both `beads.md` Commands sections); (b) convert all bead-content cross-references in this bead's `.md` files from `c:/...` local-absolute paths to `https://` absolute URLs — 68 link conversions across 8 files. Routing (local cache vs network) is a deferred gap to be solved later in a service worker. Memory saved as [`feedback_bead-links-absolute-urls`](c:/Users/steph/.claude/projects/c--Users-steph-Documents-sites/memory/feedback_bead-links-absolute-urls.md). First `/bead-sync` attempt failed (409 — webdav-sync.js doesn't auto-create destination root); recovered by MKCOL'ing bead root via curl, retried in background, 8 files + 3 dirs pushed to [`https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/31bd5380-d743-420f-81a1-9258e7fbbf9a/`](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/31bd5380-d743-420f-81a1-9258e7fbbf9a/); SKILL.md patched with first-sync MKCOL step + Phase-3 background promoted to default. Then Stephen flagged that handing him a copy-paste prompt for Gemini was wrong when the blackboard protocol exists — used [project_blackboard-uploads-protocol](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/96597c32-7f1c-4e95-acd5-635673461781/uploads/README.md) instead; deposited brief in Gemini's bead at [`uploads/2026-06-03T153001-claude-bead-protocol-brief.md`](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/9e1d87f5-a226-4d1a-be05-64c8d5cacf38/uploads/2026-06-03T153001-claude-bead-protocol-brief.md) + meta.json sidecar; saved [`feedback_blackboard-over-copypaste`](c:/Users/steph/.claude/projects/c--Users-steph-Documents-sites/memory/feedback_blackboard-over-copypaste.md). Then Stephen asked for a fused critique artifact for Kaz (so Kaz doesn't navigate two beads) + a generalized proposal-review skill. Wrote [`artifacts/anyhazard-user-model-critique-fused.md`](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/31bd5380-d743-420f-81a1-9258e7fbbf9a/2026-06-03/artifacts/anyhazard-user-model-critique-fused.md) as a standalone deliverable integrating Claude + Gemini findings, organized by recommendation theme not by source bead. Wrote [`.ai/skills/proposal-review/SKILL.md`](c:/Users/steph/Documents/sites/.ai/skills/proposal-review/SKILL.md) — 8-step pattern (read → frame → register → gaps → premature impl → strengths → fuse → artifact) with subclass enumerations (feature spec, user stories, RFC, pitch, client proposal, research, design doc). Saved [`reference_proposal-review-skill`](c:/Users/steph/.claude/projects/c--Users-steph-Documents-sites/memory/reference_proposal-review-skill.md) memory. Then Stephen directed the vocabulary shift `user → participant` (with parciante + Zoom anchors) and `host` as a role of a participant, and asked to express how participants manage resources in the URI sense. Wrote [`notes/participants-and-resources-in-uri-sense.md`](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/31bd5380-d743-420f-81a1-9258e7fbbf9a/2026-06-03/notes/participants-and-resources-in-uri-sense.md) — vocabulary anchors, URI patterns, operations-as-bindings table, capability-map-as-namespace, comparison table. Stephen then added: there are three subclasses of participant (organizations with subscriptions, people, AI agents). Updated the note with a new "Three subclasses of participant" section + differences table + mayordomo/participant relationship per subclass (organizations have a separate mayordomo; people optionally; agents ARE their own mayordomo). Closed a loop: the bead system itself is the participant protocol applied to AI agents.
## Modus Operandi (How to interact) - **Read [`00-critical-review.md`](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/31bd5380-d743-420f-81a1-9258e7fbbf9a/2026-06-03/notes/00-critical-review.md) first.** It frames the three questions and links into the topical notes. - **All references are absolute URIs** when crossing bead boundaries; relative within a bead. - **Citations to Kaz's pitches use file:line ranges** where specific — those line numbers are valid against the snapshot synced on 2026-06-02. If the source has changed since, re-anchor. - **The review is a reading**, not a verdict. Kaz's pitches are well-framed within their chosen register; the critique is about *which register* and *what's outside the frame*. - **This bead does not write to `kaz/`** — per [feedback_never-write-to-acequia-io](c:/Users/steph/.claude/projects/c--Users-steph-Documents-sites/memory/feedback_never-write-to-acequia-io.md) (and the general agent-as-bead frame), outputs stay in this bead's URI-space.
## Capabilities - Hosts critical-review notes of the AnyHazard user-model pitches. - Can be cited by future beads doing related design work (acequia governance, agent-as-bead, simtable sessions). - Does not produce executable artifacts.
## Lifecycle - **Energization:** charge flows in when Stephen, Kaz, or follow-on agents cite this review. If the pitches evolve and the review is re-grounded against a new snapshot, that happens in a new session folder under this bead or in a sibling bead. - **Apoptosis:** when the pitches stabilize (either accepted, rewritten, or shelved) and the critique is no longer load-bearing, this bead can fade without disrupting Kaz's source. The local mirror of the pitches is independent of this bead.
## Limitations - **One reader, one snapshot.** This is a single-agent reading of a snapshot taken 2026-06-02. Kaz may have revisions in flight that aren't reflected. - **Acequia-fluent register.** The critique presupposes familiarity with the Acequia vision (Hubler-nets, URI-bind-mount, agent-as-bead, advanced-wave accounting, apoptosis-vs-necrosis). A reader without that context will find the gap analysis opaque without first reading the linked design-direction notes from bead `874fce5b...`. - **Not Kaz's voice.** The critique is from an agent-bead, animated by Claude. Stephen and Kaz are the parciantes who decide what binds.
