**Artifact** from Bead: Incident Host Mvp · [canonical source](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/8dda0afd-2c9e-4374-8571-1a77ebf30516/2026-07-07/artifacts/app-catalog.md) · session 2026-07-07 · discussion: Talk: Incident Host Mvp
Inventory of the one-page apps and bookmarklets written over the last month (and a few older substrates) that are candidates for the MVP: **anyone becomes a Host for an incident and invites others to forage imagery, maps, and fire simulations (TOA, plumes) to monitor and reconstruct it.** Sources: the "apps" folder on Stephen's Chrome bookmarks bar (raw extract with full bookmarklet payloads in [apps-bookmarks-extract.json](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/8dda0afd-2c9e-4374-8571-1a77ebf30516/2026-07-07/artifacts/apps-bookmarks-extract.json)), plus six apps Stephen named directly on 2026-07-07. Each entry carries an **MVP role**: `forage` (bring assets in), `view` (monitor and reconstruct), `simulate` (fire behavior, TOA, plumes), `calibrate` (camera pose), `plumbing` (storage, sync, identity, hosting), `design` (sketches and references).
## Foraging and ingest (`forage`) - **forage bookmarklet** · [collector.js source (bead 5b518c35)](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/5b518c35-2ce7-474a-a5a8-ec83e2fd0e82/repo/collector.js) Injects a toggleable collector overlay into any page you are browsing so you can harvest imagery and assets from it into the acequia namespace. Loads `collector.js` from the bead's repo; alerts when a page's CSP blocks injected scripts. This is the generic forager the MVP's "invite others to forage" flow generalizes. - **EGP Missions bookmarklet** · [mission-browser-app.js source](https://simtable.acequia.io/apps/mission-browser/mission-browser-app.js) **A forager that runs on the third-party EGP site** (the interagency Enterprise Geospatial Portal). The bookmarklet injects the mission-browser app into an EGP page, where it browses missions and their imagery for collection. Because it operates on a third-party service, usage is governed by EGP's terms; see the [EULA-compliance skill](https://redfish.acequia.io/skills/EULA-compliance.md). Toggles cleanly (re-click removes and reloads the script). - **Image Cache Manager (set-space-time)** · [https://santafe.live/set-space-time/index.html](https://santafe.live/set-space-time/index.html) Browser manager for cached space-time image sets: timeline UI, thumbnail generation, and cache control for the imagery a forager pulls down. Sits between foraging and viewing (what has been collected, over what time window). - **ABC News chopper over LA wildfires (YouTube)** · [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y38j6fISIPE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y38j6fISIPE) Reference footage: live news-helicopter video of an LA wildfire. Kept in the apps folder as a representative third-party video source of the kind a forager would collect and a reconstruction would georegister (compare the Sandy Fire and Maria Fire work).
## Viewing, monitoring, reconstruction (`view`) - **Incident Viewer** · [https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/apps/incident-viewer/](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/apps/incident-viewer/index.html) The reconstruction workbench: Cesium-based multi-camera viewer driven by a STAC catalog (`?stac=` parameter), with timeline scrub, camera selection, and a permalink `v=` parameter that encodes full view state (incident, camera, time window, eye position, yaw and pitch). The bookmarks include a saved deep link into the [2026 Sandy Fire catalog](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/apps/incident-viewer/?stac=https%3A%2F%2Fredfish.acequia.io%2Fguerin%2F.agents%2Fcbf8b027-e80c-4b9f-8eb3-91d40af072d5%2F2026-06-11%2Fartifacts%2Fstac%2F2026SandyFire%2Fcatalog.json). Owned by the epic-5 bead [84395793](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/84395793-e621-4739-81e4-fe247b9e6003/about.md); repo at `Documents/src/incident-viewer`. - **Firewatch Camera Grid** · [https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/apps/camera-grid/](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/apps/camera-grid/) Live multi-camera monitoring grid (ALERTWest and similar feeds) with animated grid-layout transitions. This is the "monitor" face of the MVP: the wall of cameras a Host watches while foragers feed the catalog. House visual style lives here too ([plume.html](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/apps/camera-grid/plume.html)). - **`<stac-menu>` STAC catalog control** · [https://santafe.live/lib/stac-menu-demo.html](https://santafe.live/lib/stac-menu-demo.html) Reusable web component for browsing and selecting STAC catalogs, collections, and items. The natural shared control for wiring any viewer in this catalog to any foraged catalog. - **CameraMap** · [https://acequia.io/CameraMap](https://acequia.io/CameraMap) MapLibre map of the cameras in an acequia group: join a group by name and see member cameras placed on the map. The map-side complement to GeoCamera; a Host's situational overview of who is contributing views. - **.agents dashboard** · [https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/dashboard.html](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/dashboard.html) Live dashboard over the bead namespace. For the MVP it is the pattern (and possibly the chassis) for an incident dashboard: agents and artifacts accumulating under a stable URI.
## Fire simulation: TOA and plumes (`simulate`) - **2026 Sandy V1 Fire Progression** · [viewer](https://www.simtable.com/apps/fireProgression/viewerTemplate/template.html?fire=2026sandyv1) Simtable fire-progression viewer replaying time-of-arrival for the 2026 Sandy Fire. TOA is encoded as an RGB raster (red = most significant byte) per the fire-progression bead [182bd1a7](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/182bd1a7-a376-4dd0-b445-578adc6635b9/about.md), which reconstructs TOA rasters from perimeter sets. This is the "reconstruct" half of the MVP's fire story. - **Rothermel Fire Behavior** · [https://simtable.acequia.io/apps/rothermel/index.html](https://simtable.acequia.io/apps/rothermel/index.html) One-page Rothermel surface-fire-behavior model: spread rate, flame length, and related outputs from fuels, slope, and wind inputs. The physics kernel candidate behind forward simulation. - **fire-in-taos** · [https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/agentscript/fire-in-taos.html](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/agentscript/fire-in-taos.html) AgentScript fire spreading on a slope, rendered inside taos-engine. First of the agentscript-webgpu ports (bead [f4ef67b7](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/f4ef67b7-001f-412c-ba90-f93ceba92bda/about.md)); the path toward live in-scene fire and plume simulation in the same 3D context the Incident Viewer uses. - **Water Droplets in Taos (agentscript-webgpu v1)** · [https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/agentscript/water-droplets-in-taos.html](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/agentscript/water-droplets-in-taos.html) AgentScript particle model (droplets over terrain) in taos-engine, the same ABM-in-engine seam as fire-in-taos. Relevant to plume and hydrology visuals. - **TAOS engine samples** · [https://brendan-duncan.github.io/TaosEngine/dist/samples/](https://brendan-duncan.github.io/TaosEngine/dist/samples/) Brendan Duncan's TaosEngine sample gallery. Reference for engine capabilities the viewer and simulations build on.
## Camera calibration and pose (`calibrate`) - **through-the-lens v2 (Simtable office, Google 3D tiles)** · [https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/74c30681-2b0c-48b2-b2a8-9e21190a4926/repo/dev/through-the-lens-test-v2.html](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/74c30681-2b0c-48b2-b2a8-9e21190a4926/repo/dev/through-the-lens-test-v2.html) Renders the 3D world (Google photorealistic tiles) through a camera's estimated pose so the estimate can be checked against the real photo. Owned by the image-pose bead [74c30681](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/74c30681-2b0c-48b2-b2a8-9e21190a4926/about.md). Calibration is what turns foraged imagery into reconstruction-grade imagery. - **through-the-lens test (simple taos-engine scene)** · [https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/74c30681-2b0c-48b2-b2a8-9e21190a4926/repo/through-the-lens-test.html](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/74c30681-2b0c-48b2-b2a8-9e21190a4926/repo/through-the-lens-test.html) Earlier, minimal version of the same idea against a plain taos-engine scene. - **image-pose-uxui build dashboard** · [https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/74c30681-2b0c-48b2-b2a8-9e21190a4926/repo/dashboard.html](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/74c30681-2b0c-48b2-b2a8-9e21190a4926/repo/dashboard.html) Build and status dashboard for the image-pose UX work in the same bead. - **GeoCamera** · [https://acequia.io/GeoCamera](https://acequia.io/GeoCamera) Browser camera-capture app that records the full camera tuple: image plus geolocation, orientation, and a MapLibre "geo override" map for correcting position. Publishes into an acequia group. This is how an invited forager's phone becomes a calibrated incident camera.
## Storage, sync, identity, hosting (`plumbing`) - **BrowserDAV** · [https://acequia.io/BrowserDAV/](https://acequia.io/BrowserDAV/) A WebDAV server running in the browser: share local directories via the File System Access API, no server process required. Acequia group integration, chain-token scoped delegation, and a token-management UI. Directly implements the Host move: a person turns their own machine into the incident's file commons and mints invite tokens. - **WebDavSync** · [https://acequia.io/WebDavSync](https://acequia.io/WebDavSync) Browser single-page app for comparing and synchronizing file trees between WebDAV servers, with multiple auth methods and diff views. The replication tool between a Host's BrowserDAV, phones, and canonical origins. - **realtime.earth** · [https://realtime.earth](https://realtime.earth) The realtime geospatial substrate domain (live table and earth instances such as [simtable1.realtime.earth](https://simtable1.realtime.earth) and [sala.realtime.earth](https://sala.realtime.earth)). Candidate host surface for live, shared incident views. - **apps index (Acequia)** · [https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/apps/](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/apps/) Directory listing of the `guerin/apps/` namespace, the current home of Incident Viewer and Camera Grid and the likely home for the MVP shell. - **AnyHazard editor** · `http://127.0.0.1:4319/` (local dev only) Local editor for the AnyHazard work (anyhazard.com). No public deployment; recorded here so the bookmark is accounted for. - **✦ Web-Edit bookmarklet** · [ai-editor.js source](https://redfish.com/web-edit/ai-editor.js) Injects an in-page AI editor (cognition endpoint at [redfish.com/web-edit/cognition.php](https://redfish.com/web-edit/cognition.php)) into whatever page you are on. General-purpose authoring tool rather than incident-specific; relevant as the pattern for bookmarklet-delivered capability, same delivery mechanism as forage and EGP Missions. - **devops-git commit tree** · [https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/974d57e3-b2f1-44d6-930c-73d9aad07aeb/2026-06-18/artifacts/commit-tree.html](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/974d57e3-b2f1-44d6-930c-73d9aad07aeb/2026-06-18/artifacts/commit-tree.html) HTML visualization of a git commit tree from the devops-git bead. Development tooling, adjacent to the MVP rather than inside it.
## Design sketches and references (`design`) - **sketch-ux log** · [https://redfish.acequia.io/skills/sketch-ux/sketch-log.md](https://redfish.acequia.io/skills/sketch-ux/sketch-log.md) Running log of the rendered-sketch UX practice; where MVP sketches should be logged. - **Firewatch grid layout transitions (sketch, and v15)** · [first sketch](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/65783732-7907-4a36-983a-3b015e75e80b/2026-06-22/artifacts/sketches/grid-layout-transitions.html) · [v15](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/65783732-7907-4a36-983a-3b015e75e80b/2026-06-24/artifacts/sketches/grid-layout-transitions-v15.html) Rendered sketches of camera-grid layout transitions (bead 65783732). Design source for the monitoring surface. - **Debbie: Slack to acequia agent sketches** · [slack-acequia-agent-sketches.html](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/c915581b-4179-409e-9e13-085531521fd9/2026-06-22/artifacts/sketches/slack-acequia-agent-sketches.html) Debbie's rendered sketches for the Slack-to-acequia agent membrane (bead c915581b). Relevant to how invitations and notifications might reach people where they already are.
## Reading the catalog as an MVP The composition seams already visible: - **STAC is the spine.** Foragers (forage bookmarklet, EGP Missions, GeoCamera) produce assets; catalogs make them addressable; `<stac-menu>` selects them; Incident Viewer and the fire-progression viewer consume them. - **Acequia groups are the invite.** GeoCamera, CameraMap, and BrowserDAV already share the join-a-group gesture; a Host minting a group plus scoped tokens (BrowserDAV's chain tokens, [token-minting pattern](https://redfish.acequia.io/guerin/.agents/c915581b-4179-409e-9e13-085531521fd9/about.md)) is the "anyone becomes a Host" move with no central server. - **Calibration is the quality gate** between foraged imagery and reconstruction (through-the-lens, image-pose). - **Simulation closes the loop:** TOA reconstruction from what happened (fire progression) and forward simulation of what might (Rothermel, fire-in-taos plumes).
