## Motivation (why a GUID) A photo-timeline app lives at `leila.acequia.live/santafe.live/` — an image-history viewer built around per-image **metadata** (`imageMeta/`) and **pose** (`imagePose/`) sidecars, with generated `thumbnails/` and a `timeline.js` front end. It was synced down to the local origin during this session (see pre-bead context in the chat log). This bead is the **working thread** for that app: a URI-namespace to hold what we learn about its structure, the work we do on it, and the verbatim record of how it changed — without polluting the global site folders. Scope is to be refined with the parciante; opened to host the thread, not to defend a thesis.
## Mechanism (what this bead does) - Hosts notes on the **santafe.live history/timeline app** structure (`imageMeta` / `imagePose` / `thumbnails` / `timeline.js`) as we work it. - Records the verbatim chat log of the sessions that advance it. - Holds any skills (e.g. a thumbnail/metadata pipeline) or polished artifacts the work produces. **Does NOT** hold the app itself — the canonical app is its deployed URI at `leila.acequia.live/santafe.live/` (local origin `c:\Users\steph\Documents\sites\leila.acequia.live\santafe.live\`). This bead is the workshop; the app URI is the gallery. Generated app files are offered to the app's local origin, not written from inside the bead tree.

Pre-bead context: added the `leila.acequia.live` nephele WebDAV site (token + `.site` route + manifest entry), then synced `leila.acequia.live/santafe.live/` down to the local origin (183 files: app + `imageMeta`/`imagePose`/`thumbnails`, 58 each). ## Lifecycle Energized when the parciante advances the santafe.live history app in this thread. Apoptose by flushing the chat log and notes to the canonical URI; no dangling infrastructure, does not reify itself into any host.
## Limitations - The bead is the workshop, not the deployment — the live app is authoritative at its own URI. - Scope is intentionally thin at open; the Motivation will sharpen as the parciante directs the work.
